As a parent, I had no idea what I was getting into when we first began the college application process. My daughter and I felt completely overwhelmed. Then Michael came into our lives. Together they examined all the aspects of college life and asked questions that I didn’t even know were relevant. Michael helped her throughout the entire process from financial aid to college essays, there is no way we could have been as successful without him. My daughter is now thriving at Columbia University and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.

Grounded in my experience working for Bowdoin College Admissions and my studies at the University of California, Irvine in Independent Educational Consulting, I guide students through the multi-year process of applying to college.
The application process is about both developing the personal insight needed to find good fit schools and building organizational and decision-making skills involved in making big life decisions. As students gets to know themselves more deeply, they will be better able to determine what a good fit college is and why. We break down the college application process into manageable steps. All services are offered a la carte based on what you need. I am with you every step of the way.
