How does Tutoring work?

If you decide to move forward with tutoring, I tell families what books to purchase. There is regular homework assigned and students are expected to complete it by our lesson time.
Pricing
My current prices are:
- Single session $160 / hr [90 minute sessions are $240]
- Package of 8 90 minute sessions $1680 [more than a 12% discount off the regular session price, lowers price to $140 / hr]
- You can purchase more than 8 sessions in a package and keep the package pricing for all. Must be purchased in a bundle.
- If you refer a friend to All Things Tutoring and they sign up for lessons, you get $50 off your child's next lesson.
- If you need to cancel a lesson, please give me at least 24 hours notice. There will be an $80 missed lesson fee for any lessons cancelled within 24 hours.
Group Lessons
- I offer lowered fees for group lessons with 2 or more students.
- For 2 students, the fee per student is lowered to $125 / hr per student, for a total of $375 per 90 minute session for two students.
- Additional discounts available for additional students.
- Package of 8 discounts will still apply at 12.5% discount. Please contact me for more details.
Reduced Price Lessons
- For economically disadvantaged families, I offer a limited number of reduced price sessions. Please email me for more information and to apply for reduced price tutoring at nugent.sfbay@gmail.com.
